WEATHER

New Orleans has a subtropical climate with pleasant year-round temperatures. Temperatures range from the mid 40's in winter to more than 90's in the summer. Rainfall is common in New Orleans, with a monthly average of about five inches of precipitation.

For our March conference, I recommend that you bring a jacket or sweater and an umbrella.  Temperatures listed below are average and it is possible to have a cold wave with rain and temperatures below 52 F.  You can wear just about anything in New Orleans and no one will care however, some of the finer restaurants require appropriate attire (no shorts or t-shirts) and a jacket for men.  Ask when you make a reservation.
